It was a cold and rainy winter night… but I had the pleasure of meeting a warm and interesting couple over a drink at Stella Blue! Sarah and Mike braved the stormy conditions to discuss plans for their upcoming wedding. While anxiously we awaited the arrival of a perfect spring day for their shoot, it seemed the New England weather was not on our side. In a battle of wills, we set a date and were prepared for anything!
Sarah and Mike were an absolute joy to shoot! They’re SUCH a pleasure to be around! Sarah is a Love!
You can feel the excitement radiating out of her like the sun. You can see it in her smile and hear it in her laugh. It’s contagious! While Mike tends to be on the quiet side, he exudes a rugged and reserved humility. Don’t let his coy nature fool you, as he is up for anything from climbing trees above a rolling river with his sweetheart to strolling through the park, gifting her with flowers.
For their engagement shoot, Sarah and Mike chose to visit one of their favorite spots.
It’s a place where they spend time mountain biking and strolling through the woods. The day started out at their favorite tree overlooking the water and wrapped exploring the local park. We were slightly concerned about what the weather would bring but, as luck would have it, the day was perfect and so much fun! I’m very excited to show you these pics from their engagement shoot and even more excited for their upcoming wedding in the mountains this fall!
Congratulations to the both of you! It’s going to be beautiful!!!
