I did not make Megan and Faisal jump into the water for their engagement shoot!
I meant to say on water. I swear, I was the only person in the water on this shoot – aside from Megan’s rocking mom who also jumped in to help with the boat!

All teasing aside, I first met Megan and Faisal at a funky little cafe in Queens last fall. It was immediately apparent that this couple was going to be a blast! Between Megan’s fashionable sophistication and Faisal’s classic cool, you get the sense that there is something magical about this couple.
They have this old Hollywood, glamour couple with a modern day twist vibe that draws you in. I love it!!
We spent the afternoon shooting at Megan’s family lakeside home. The setting was perfect!
We had so much fun using the gorgeous stone work in the garden, the dock and even took a little boating tour of the lake!
Cheers to Megan’s Mom for driving the boat so we could get some OUTSTANDING water shots!!
The wedding is less than a month away and I cannot wait to travel back up to the family lakeside home to capture their day!
I’m so inspired by this couple that I’ve been cooking up some FANTASTIC ideas and am saving the absolute BEST for their big day!!
Until then just try not to be drawn in by this smoldering couple… I dare you.
