I am in love with color.  Shocking revelation, I know!

There is something about the warm tones of late fall where I just can’t get enough.  It’s the reds, yellows and golden oranges of the late Autumn hues that drive me wild with their vibrance.  Elation barely begins to describe my reaction when Michelle and Chris decided to have their couples lifestyle session
with the last of the Autumn leaves as a backdrop.

Thankfully, we didn’t have to travel very far to find the perfect location.  Our day was spent exploring the beautiful landscape of Mac’s Apple Farm in Londonderry, NH.
Mac’s is one of my favorite places to visit and shoot!

When I see an open door, I see opportunity.  This particular barn door was irresistible with the light seeping through the rafters and crates strewn everywhere!  It was almost too good to be true!

Tanner and Lily were very patient while waiting for us to take these pictures and, very appropriately, joined the session for a family photo… made possible by a lot of treats!

Across the street lies another pond with an outstanding weeping willow tree and an old tree swing. There is something about the next few images that seem to come from another time or some other location.  I just love these!

Some of you very clever readers may have noticed something missing from Michelle’s finger!

Just days after their lifestyle session, Chris asked Michelle to be his wife!  He gave her the most beautiful canary yellow diamond!  Although taken after the fact, we just had to include some pictures of the ring!

Great job, Chris! The ring is stunning!
