I had the absolute pleasure this past week to work with a beautiful young woman for her senior pictures.
Grace wanted a little more than the basic beach portrait for her senior session.
She loves animals and everything country so a local private farm was the perfect choice!
We got to walk through the woods to a meadow where the gorgeous sunlight was pouring in from behind the marsh field.
Past the barn we had to stop to get a few pictures of Grace and wouldn’t it be perfect if she were photobombed by the curious horse.
Beyond the barn we took off out into the woods filled with deer running across our paths and there was an older field slightly off the path that was filled with old grass and straw fields. Grace’s expressions are absolutely gorgeous and quite complimented the scenery.
It’s always a great session when you have a beautiful girl who’s as smart, funny and playful. She really owned her session and it shows.
After playing in the different fields, we stumbled across a tiny pond just as the sun was escaping through the trees. It was a beautiful spot for more portraits.
As the sun was quickly fading beyond the tree line, I asked Grace to indulge me with a few sunset portraits by the water. I knew on our way back it was going to be one of the most glorious sunsets that evening and I promised her they would not be ordinary beach portraits, but energetic one’s where the orange and red sky would pop.
Mother Nature did not disappoint. I can’t get enough of the golden glow as the sun went down while we finished our session as sun set.
I love her cowboy boots as much as her playful smile!
Grace, you are such a blessed young woman. You are such a kind and spirited young woman and I know you will have a fantastic year and an incredibly amazing future.
It was an honor to take your portraits. I wish you the best year ever as you prepare for graduation!
