On a day where storms passed and remnants of hurricanes travelled up the Massachusetts coastline, there was no amount of rain that could take away from Amy’s beautiful bright smile and Matt’s joy as they tied the knot at the Pavilion at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth Mass. It truly was #anicedayforabrightwedding

While Matt and they guys were getting every last detail checked, I met with Amy and her lovely bridesmaids at the Mirabeau Inn and Spa at Pinehills.  Amy had every last detail picked so with such grace and elegance. 

While I was photographing her details, she took off her necklace and asked for a picture of it. In 10 years, my emotions have gotten the best of me only twice while working, as it’s not often a story can choke me up while working but she did let me share this with you… 

This gorgeous gift was from Matt the night before the wedding…(Matt’s words here.)

The star necklace is Polaris, the North Star.  It is one of the brightest stars in the sky and is always noticeable despite there being so many stars around it.  It is special in the fact that it is the only star in the sky that is constant.  It has been a guide for centuries and many travelers have found their way home safe because of it.  
Amy is the light that shines the brightest in my life and wherever she is will be home to me.  This is why I wanted to give her this necklace so that she always knows that she is the light of my life and that I love her so much!

Matt you are thoughtful and kind and Amy is so lucky! The two of you are absolutely perfect!

It’s wedding time!!!

It was a fantastic night with so much joy and celebration. Watching two wonderful families combine is truly a blessing.
So many moments to cherish forever. 

Amy wanted something a little different for her night shot, so I got to play around with a few of these
and I couldn’t be more excited!

As the evening came to an end there was a fire pit station and smores outside, while these two heat things up!
