Introducing Ali!

This headstrong and gorgeous young lady knows exactly what she wants and she gets it! Perhaps a trait passed down from her beautiful mom and one of my dearest friends. Ali knew exactly where she wanted her Senior Pictures to be taken. It certainly wasn’t in some stuffy studio but a special place near and dear to her and her dad. While I have photographed a plethora of beaches in the past decade for all sorts of portraits, I never had such a gorgeous fleeting sunset such as this one. As we carried my gear about a mile I began to question her choice but I kept that to myself as I noticed the further we went into the woods we were heading east and that bright beautiful getting ready to set sun was heading west. Two miles in…I checked my clock, trying not to panic noticing half of our session time was almost over, we finally came to a landing. The sun was warm and the winds were strong but once we put my gear down I knew she had listened everything I said in the pre-portrait meeting. This is why you want golden hour for your portraits!

This is where we began. 

Then little by little that gorgeous warm sun came out from behind those big drama clouds and magic happened. 

Ali was just as stunning as the location and I loved her attire choices as much as watching her carefree spirt and gorgeous locks blowing in the wind.  

So we’re lucky to have one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen, and then a rainbow.

Ali you are beyond talented with music and arts. You are an amazing young lady who doesn’t conform to anyone and you get things done. You are going to go so far in this world. Good Luck next year and I can’t wait to watch you follow all your dreams. Luvs and Hugs xoxoxo.
