Selfless Love is something so magnanimous, to be cherished and appreciated and so incredible to be witness to. This couple epitomizes the true meaning of selfless love in their work, their lives, and to each other. They both are such kind, caring, and giving people that I was completely over the moon to photograph their wedding. You have seen them before at their fiery engagement shoot complete with Jon and his firetruck. Today’s post I’m ecstatic to show you their elegant Irish wedding with almost the entire fire department in attendance.

Kate was such a vision! Her family flew from all over coming from Ireland, Canada and all over the US to be present for the wedding. Some of my favorite images are right here when her father saw her all dressed up before she walked down the aisle. Such a warm, fun and lively family, I laughed out loud when I saw the very special tie that Kate chose for her father to wear. I love it!!!
Jeff did an amazing job capturing these moments of the guys. Just looking at them traveling to the ceremony, I’m filled up with excitement and anticipation all over again.
The weather was not so cooperative. Rain, severe gusts of wind and I love these two shots below that Jeff caught while I was setting up the next one.
As we all know to have rain on an Irish wedding is quite a blessing. To have a hurricane/nor’easter, Kate and Jon I believe you may have tipped the scales with blessings and then some…

The induction into the Firefighter family was breathtaking to watch. Just beautiful and amazing.

I also loved the special surprise Kate had for her mom. In lieu of tossing flowers she had a special bouquet to give just to her. I’m loving the expressions.

I have to thank the amazing team of people who helped put everything together so beautifully and elegantly for Kate and Jon.

First of all I have to thank my amazing, talented and very patient friend and second shooter Jeff Newcum . He got so many magnificently dramatic moments of Jon and the guys getting ready. In all seriousness I specifically asked him to start he day hanging out the window in the pouring rain to get those rocking fire truck shots while driving to the ceremony.  I love those captures as well as those gorgeous details and extra moments. So thank you for your patience with my requests.

Hair and Make up: Salon Noi
Most importantly, A very special and sincere Thank You to the Millbury Fire Department.  Your team and your family of people are extraordinary in every way. Thank you for the beautiful service and dedication at Kate and Jon’s wedding and also thank you for the selfless job that you all do every single day.

Kate and Jon it was truly an honor and pleasure to photograph your wedding!  I hope your days are filled with love and many wondrous surprises for the rest of your lives together!

May you always have
Walls for the winds
A roof for the rain
Tea beside the fire
Laughter to cheer you
Those you love near you
And all your heart might desire.

  • Jaime – I think this might be my favorite wedding shoot of yours. I love the images and how you captured the moment. Jon and Kate are going to be so happy with their wedding photographs!

WHAT A WONDERFUL JOB YOU DID.

  • Rachel Majka

    Kate and Jon,
This was by far the best wedding I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. It was allot of work that proved to be well worth it. They say that if it rains the first time you wear something new it will last forever. Well we had a monsoon on your day so what does that tell you. Much love, luck, and laughter to both of you and to my nephew Rocky as well.

    Much Love always Rachel
